The Role
The Market Access Manager is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple projects, guiding cross-functional teams, and driving high-quality market access deliverables for clients across Germany and Europe. This role blends hands-on project leadership with strategic advisory responsibilities, supporting product launches, shaping market access strategies, strengthening client partnerships, and contributing to the organisation’s growth and transformation.
Acting as a bridge between delivery teams and senior leadership, the Manager plays a critical part in ensuring project excellence, commercial success, and the continued development of internal capabilities and product areas.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Client Leadership
Lead multiple market access projects as Product Owner or Strategic Advisor, ensuring excellence across scope, quality, and profitability
Drive structured problem-solving and integrate insights into robust project frameworks
Manage budgets, timelines, and resource planning across workstreams
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on German and European market access topics
Represent the organisation at client pitches, external meetings, and industry conferences
Strategic & Organisational Contribution
Contribute to organisational strategy and firm-wide transformation initiatives
Take ownership of internal product areas and support their evolution
Develop and implement business development strategies alongside senior leadership
Ensure the integration of agile, cross-functional working methods
Champion company values, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
Team Development & Leadership
Manage, mentor, and coach delivery teams, ensuring performance, wellbeing, and continuous development
Promote best practices in methodology, communication, and problem-solving
Encourage an open, supportive culture built on integrity, quality, and curiosity
Qualifications
Excellent German and English language skills
3+ years’ experience in market access within Germany and/or Europe (consulting experience preferred)
Strong understanding of German AMNOG, European market access and reimbursement processes
Proven experience in strategic client leadership, business development, and agile working methods
High level of analytical, structured thinking and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
Reliable, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach with a strong commitment to quality
Team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for complex topics and strong professional, methodological, and interpersonal competencies
Willingness to travel occasionally
